Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Óscar Sánchez to extend the coach’s contract, allowing him to continue his work as head coach of VCF Mestalla.
Óscar Sánchez took charge of VCF Mestalla during the final stretch of this season, in which he achieved four victories in six matches, while overseeing an impressive attacking record of 18 goals scored during that period.
The 47-year-old coach from Murcia has completed his second season at the Valencia CF Academy. During the 2024–25 campaign, he guided the VCF Juvenil A team to the Group VII División de Honor title, with the side also reaching the final of the Copa de Campeones Juvenil.
In the 2025–26 season, he also played a role in securing another Group VII División de Honor championship for VCF Juvenil A.
